Chatange Cattery was registered with CFA in 1989. We are a breeding/show cattery operating in NewHampshire. Our first litter produced our first Birman Grand Champion, GC Chatange Nicodemus, seal point male. Between 1992 and 1998 we bred bi-color and tabby Persians in addition to our Birmans. From 1995 until recently, we had a very small program of Abyssinians and do hope to sometime soon acquire one or two females for our boy. In 2000, in additiion to our Birmans, we acquired our first Japanese Bobtail female and today, we have a small program of Japanese Bobtails. In June 08, we acquired our first Exotic Shorthair, a brown patched tabby & white female from our good friend, Noel Newton of Madame Nu Cathouse. Our goal is quality not quantity with wonderful outgoing personalities. Occasionally we have kittens and retired adults available. For more information please visit the specific breed webpages.
Shortly after obtaining a grand champion title on my first show cat, I entered the clerking program and worked towards obtaining my clerking license. Five years later I had completed the requirements for advancement to a CFA master clerk. With my interest in administrative work I became proficient in entry clerking for CFA shows in the North Atlantic Region. Today I operate Chatange Entry Clerking Service.
